Palm Sunday we headed to church in Garden City and we were happy to have some extra visitors with us. Papa, Nana and the Truesdell's came to our church today. Staying in church with Tate during the entire service is something we're working on. Before the kid could walk and squirm his way out of the pew and our arms, he did pretty good in church. Liked the singing, snacks and books. And now, we can make it through the first 20-30 minutes
After church we headed to Bob & Karen's in Radcliffe for Easter dinner. We had a great spread of food, beautiful weather and everyone had a great time. Tate needed a nap right around the time of dinner, so after Aaron ate he and Tate went on a car ride to let him rest for a bit. Then when they got back I attempted to make Tate his own Easter egg hunt (the big kids did theirs while he napped). But it was all for nothing, he wasn't so interested, mostly just wanted to try to keep up with the big kids. Anyway, we had a great time with the Stensland family and got to be outside almost all day.
As we left Radcliffe we found out Chad hadn't left to return to Wisconsin yet, so we stopped by my parents to say ''Hi". Last week Brittni started her new job in Des Moines, so she's staying with my parents right now while Chad finishes training in Madison for his new job. So Friday my parents and Brittni drove up to Madison to move Chad from their old apartment to a smaller, cheaper apartment. Then after they got all the moving done Saturday they drove back to Iowa that night and spent Sunday unloading the trailer. Does not sound like much fun to me. But we're so excited to have them back in Iowa! So, while we stopped by, Chad and Tate went on a 4 wheeler ride. What a lucky kid! He should sleep like a rock tonight!
